Just picked her up a few weeks ago. Body work was done horribly but she is solid and all there. Gonna be a fun project. Runs and has 360, Holly 4 with a 727 torque flight. Tell me what ya think?
well lets see you picked her up a few weeks ago ,the body work was done by a butcher and she is solid ,your going to have a lot of fun ,she runs and has a 360 with a 4 bbl and she has 727 automatic ,well what do you think she is ,I don`t have a clue , but welcome to the site :edgy:
She doesn't look too butchered in the pics. Looks like a sweet 68. Welcome to FBBO. Glad to have you. Keep the pics coming as you make whatever progress you're going to make. We just like pics.....!
The normal rust in bottom of the quarters wasn't taken care of. Floors have to be patched in places....trunk not bad...back window needs work as they all do. Gonna be a blast though!
I'm driving what all cool guys drive - a 68 GTX. Just coming off a resto or I'd show you some pics. Give me a few more weeks. Have had the car for 43 years. It's in MN, where I'm originally from. Will be done shortly.
Nice looking GTX, love the stance. As a newbe myself, I have learned this group at Mopar U. loves pictures..keep em coming. They are great at advice and sharing their own stumbles along the way and helping the rest of us avoid repeating their mistakes. Feels like family. Mocajava
Please tell me the first thing you did was take off those slapper bars and sold them to a Camaro owner!?
All you need is a pinion snubber...or SS springs...better yet, both!
Good point Lionized. I haven't yet but will. First thing I took off was that fast and furious pep boys yellow shifter know off of the B&M shifter. The yellow steering wheel is next. Gotta have something that fits the car.
