This guy has a serious case of barretjacksoninfluenza. The ad is laughable.. in fact I did chuckle out loud a little as I read it and looked at his in-depth photos.

I want $39,800 for my half *** restored non numbers matching 318 car! And all you get are these crappy 5 pictures! Cash only! Hah!

I guess I should just be happy it's not written in ALL CAPS.

No low ballerz or time waisters.
I no what it is werth.
I don't need too sale.
To much too list.
All original. New Holy crab, weyand intake, headmen hedders, 14" rally wheels. Kraco stereo with speakers in the doors.

This is comical. The word -profiling- comes to mind. :D

Can we paint a picture of who this seller is in our minds?

It just might be a better picture of who he is than what we need to know about the car he is selling.:realcrazy:

The true market will crush his dreams... with NO responses to this brazen ad. :mob:

(I always wondered what this smily was for)

The problem with "time waters" is those very people are the only ones who don't know that they are "time wasters", and the very person who bares them from inquiring has no way to tell a "time waster" from a seriously interested party until after the time has been wasted, and at that point they are the same thing.

The problem with "no low ball offers" is that that is the very way commerce is intended to work, period.

1- high asking price
2- low offer
3- negotiation

Simple.

Sure the guy is out of reality with the price but consider this.... Hows the body on this car? Its still a 69,desirable year, body style. My take would be ,assuming the body is in excellent shape and someone really wanted that year, id contact the guy,get a dialog open and tell him heres my contact information and if you don't sell it call me. So say maybe, just maybe he does not sell that car and comes down to earth, whats the car worth? You could wind up with a very decent car at a reasonable price

Looked like each quarter panel had a dent in it. The body didn't look all that great and black is an unforgiving color

Being only 30 minutes away, I almost feel the need to take a drive over there.
Mmmmmm.... Nah!

Educated buyers would spend more for a better candidate at that sellers price point.
