Felt like walking into a sauna walking out of the house yesterday morning at 6a but this morning it felt much better. Temp was only a few degrees lower but the humidity was the same. Funny how just a few degrees can feel so much different....

Torrential down pour T Storm last night. Nice today though, but wet.
Got up to Cow Hampshire on Thursday morning & the weather has been just delightful here. Just had a passing 10 minute shower go through, but it's cleared up now. Might get another before the day is over.
Car EVIC thermometer has been 97-103 the past 2 weeks with one reading of 117.
Yikes.
OTOH, that crazy heat is actually burning off some of the humidity by mid-day.

I knew it was pretty warm outside because my AC ran for 30 minutes and it is set on 81! My gauge in the shop had 104 for a high at 31% and now it's 102 at 45% 30 minutes later. The brick by my back door which is in the shade all the time was 103 according to my temp gun which is not a low dollar unit....

never cooled off, it usually get down to the low 60*s after 2 am overnight
I can't moan too much, been pretty mild for the most part here

that **** scares me, put out quickly, thank goodness for CalFire

66* here, steady soft rain all night. Clearing now and a nice soft day on tap...heh. heh.
Campground about 1/2 filled on Saturday when we got there. By Sunday afternoon it was less than 20 percent filled. Loop road not bad. Pretty popular with bears though. One morning driving through we counted 15. Never seen close to that over the years.

Always lots of bears - and sometimes, tourists dumb enough to get too close to 'em.
Back to being fully smoked in here at camp. Had planned to take a neighbour fishing on a back lake but can barely see to drive a boat let alone go flying.
Yesterday morning was 69 degrees, 65% humidity. The day ended at 108 degrees, 24% humidity. This morning 75 degrees, 56% humidity. Looks like more of the same. I have a standing invite to my brother-in-law's backyard pool, which I will be availing myself of again today!
I need to clean my 'redneck' pool before getting in it again......looks like there's something else to do today.

Highs 80's which is hot for here. I saw by Friday we're back to a high of the low 70s for the week. I feel for you. I lived Kansas/Oklahoma for a lot of years. Speaking of Oklahoma you Okies haven't posted any Super Cells this summer. I DO miss those.
