Nuerostimulator anyone?

Anybody here have a neurostimulator put in? My wife tore up her ankle real bad back in Janunry amd has had plates,screws put in and is dealing with chronic pain due to R.S.D. and the pain doc wants to put one in......just wondering if anybody here has had this done and how it went and how it is going now....Thanks.

No I haven't, but that really sucks & sounds pretty bad, tell your wife for me "to feel better & get well soon" too...

Hey, I have one in my back. I've had it for 5 yrs now. It works great for the pain in my leg but doesn't do much for the lower back. I've had 4 back surgeries and have permanent nerve damage going into my leg. I'll use it if I have to walk any distance, like the mall or car shows. I went thru a trial period before it was implanted in me, to see if it worked. Hopefully she can do a trial period also. PM me if you want to talk.

Well this is a workers comp. deal so they are dragging there feet on getting this done. We have to go to Chicago in a couple weeks to see a specialist. Her pain Dr. wants to put in the trial one to make sure it will work for her. If ya want to pm me your number I will see if she has any questions for you. Thanks so much!!!
