Well we're still alive in Melbourne as of now I guess tomorrow is our day we might get lucky but you never know where these stupid things will go!

I'll tell you what it's weird having someone in your house that's not related! The old man I take care of lives in a manufacturer home and to make it worse there's no insurance I'm told ! So we're really hoping for a nice breeze here and I'll be getting insurance on his house asap after this passes over ! I technically own the house with him so I'll insure it for my own piece of mind! So I'll check back in,in the morning if I still am kicking!,

Outer bands moving through. A few Tornado warnings

My in-laws had a 4AM tornado alert call in the Boca Raton area. Glad they got outta there. Their house already lost power.

Thanks guys I've been out killing myself trying to help everyone I've done 5 houses so far and more tomorrow
I would take up that vacation in n.j. but I have 13 ducks 4 dogs and a cat plus a wife and 3-4 cars to bring and the old man I take care of ! So yeah I need to stay . Plus when the looting begins I get to try out my new ar15 !
I am not able to get the link up for some reason? There is already video from Fort Lauderdale of the trash in this world steeling.
Lock and load! :elmer::mob:

First off, I wish the best to all in FL. I stayed for Katrina, on the east boundary of Metairie, 3 blocks from Lake Pontchartrain. That is about 1.5 miles from the west boundary of New Orleans, aka the 17th Street canal. That was one of the MAJOR levee breach sites. The canal levee breached on the New Orleans side. I went and saw it the morning after Katrina passed. Surreal....like a small river POURING through the breach. Gas mains broken underwater, on fire, looked like the Styx Equinox album cover, except instead of ice the fire was burning on the surface of the water. Too many experiences to document here. I got lucky at my house. Missed flooding the main elevation by 1/4" So close the carpet padding in a small area pulled a little water in like a sponge. 3 lower than slab rooms flooded, but spared the sheetrock. Once the sheetrock is wet, whole different story. My wife was stuck working in a state hospital in downtown New Orleans, for days and days, with NO communication.
On another note, the Heineken Looter guy video/picture was on local TV. You know, the "peeps" gots ta have dem essentials...
I had no idea how infamous he had become! Those were some REALLY funny memes!

Well we're getting some now but it's falling apart little by little it's a cat 2 now witch isn't bad and the eye wall is on the other coast so we're getting a lot but nothing major! The next hour is my turn so here we go guns out people are already casein places I'm told I've have a few cars cruse by very slow check out homes that look empty . Not many cars here it looks lolike my home is empty and I have the biggest nicest house on my street. Guy came up to the front door trying to see in he saw the a 120 lb pit and my rifle pointed at his *** he took off quick

Naples is getting hammered right now...142 mph winds and sideways rain.

I was looking at that. The weather app I have pulls up live storm chasers, there was one person showing a live feed in Naples. After the eye got over him he went out waking around. Not looking good down there. His feed disapered, if it comes back I will try and get a screen shot.

My step daughters father and grandmother live in Fort Myers, I was just talking to her and it looks like the eye is going to go right over that area next. See what happens?? This is from someone's feed in Fort Myers area.

Where are you at in relation to the eye of the Storm? Past you getting to you?
This pick is from the north side of Naples.

Hang in there guys. Not that bad. Bad, yes, but not 20ft. storm surge. 2 friends of mine had, HAD nice homes near the water in Mississippi, anywhere from 8 to 12 feet off the ground on sturdy pilings...post Katrina, GONE like they were never there.

Stay safe guys and keep an eye out for the Free **** Army, really pisses me off!

Shoe stores of all places being looted. Expect to see discounted Nikes on craigslist in the coming days.

Gang of looters caught on camera smashing their way into a sports store in Fort Lauderdale and running off with armloads of goods despite storm-force winds
  • At least eight people were filmed by an ABC crew breaking into Simon's Sportswear in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  • The group did so amid Hurricane Irma's destruction across South Florida
  • ABC reports that a Foot Locker nearby was also looted and it is not clear whether the incidents were related
  • No one in either group has been identified

They need to declare a martial law and shoot the looters on site!
