Car runs great gets warm when sitting not moving in miami runs 180 to 185 when running goes to 200 / 210 in tragic have 2 1200 cfm fans alum radiator 2 row 1 1/4 tubes don’t no what water pump didn’t build block thought of putting in high volum pump with thermostatic controlled push fan any thoughts?

yep go back to stock setup. Nothing wrong with that. Never had a problem with my 69 charger 6pk 4 spd dana with temp in SC I wish I never put an aluminum radiator in my Bee should of went stock. Live and learn. And yes SC gets smoking hot.

Sitting in traffic, 210 is normal. A 180 t-stat will regulate at 195, a 195 will regulate at 210. Those are what it will typically regulate at while cruising. Mine at 222° after sitting 10 minutes w a/c going in 125° outside temp. Cruises at 176, stop n go at 196. This was after a 50 mile drive and then letting engine idle in parking lot. Heat soak krept up and peaked at 222° then slowly started going back down.

Here's 196° on guage and 174° on gauge. Too many people get a digital or analog guage and see numbers that don't match their t-stat or what someone on a forum or magazine said their car should run at. These are absolutely all normal temps as engineered by Mopar.

Big blocks like to run 210, that is right in their wheelhouse. I run my 6bbl on a 195 thermo, as it came from the factory. Always stays between 195-210
