Porta power to get header iff the torsion bar?

Question, stock engine mounts? The engine can be moved around almost 1/2" in the vertical and horizontal. Would this possibly help? Used to run into this with my Dart, until I went tubular front suspension and git rid of the torsion bars.

I have no idea…. I ASSUME stock mounts but really dont know…. My biggest issue is i cannot get on the cold concrete floor with 2 replacement knees and a bad back to handle this! Lol

They will just spring back. But what works really well? Heat the area where the contact occurs. If clearance isn't suffcient to get at the area you can uses a ratchet strap to pull the header away from the torsion bar. When its red pry the header against the torsion bar. The result will be a perectly shaped and aligned bend formed by the contact against the bar. It's very easy and quick.

Wrap a ratchet strap around the header tube you want to move, park next to a tree, and have at it.

I agree so many things you can tie off to leverage. It's thin walled tubing not plate steel...
