Progress. Updates. And questions.

Other than taking out the transmission oil pump and inspecting it, not really. As far as the torque conveter, short of parts falling out, the same. Maybe a better trans expert @dvw can assist with that...

To be honest. I thought about it for sure. But most likley not. I want to. But I'm jot 100% what's involved in doing something like that. I'd love to be able to know 100% that it runs and dosent leak before I install it and find out the hard way though.
You can buy one or make one. People with welding skills and a welder usually go that route. I have neither! But, I do have an endless supply of 2x4's and pallets. I made one out of those. Now, to get it in the car...

Converter will be fine. I'd put a new seal in the front of the trans. Inspect the bushing with a flash light. If it's scored up it'll need to be replaced. It's not that hard. If it needs a new one I can walk you through it.

So this is the k member rot. Ill be honest. It dosent seem TOO bad. I'm hoping I can throw some rust reformer on it. And maybe just weld in a hunk of metal on that little flange.

I got the garage all cleaned up today. And got the mounts off the old engine. Anyone know weather they make swap mounts or if I just need to use a spacer on the 360 with the 318 mounts?

Just use a spacer.
For the engine mounts you mean? I figured that was the case. Most people have said that on a couple different posts.

This may be a stupid question. But if I wanted to replace the rubber bushings in the motor mounts. I see that people sell them. HOW? It dosent look like it can be swapped lol. Like the pictures online make it seem like it'd be impossible to get the new ones in.

For the mounts, yes.
Here is a complete motormount. Not expensive

Just fill the void with windshield urethene. The mount will be stronger than anything you can buy. Did it to my Volare mounts 20 years ago. Still fine.

Anyone have any experience with mini starters? any good ones that will work?

Seems pretty good to me. Dosent seem all damaged and stuff. But I'm not really 100% positive on what I'm looking at. Anything I should be concerned about or looking for as far as if I messed anything up trying to pull it all out?

I'd put a new pump seal in it. While the seal is out look at the front bushing. If it shows scars take a picture and let me see it. If it's damaged I can walk you through replacing it. No real special tools. And minimal disassembly. If it looks good? Just replace the seal in case it was damaged.
