I bought an older Lakewood Scattershield to put behind the stroker I’m building. I noticed the newer 15330s have two bolt holes and use an adapter for the starter, vs the bigger round hole on this one?

Did they make some changes at some point? The red is obviously a recent 15330.

I bought mine used way back in 1979! It has two holes to chose from. They are for bolting a cup in for the nose of the starter to sit in pending which diameter flywheel you have.

Dadsbee do you think you can only use an 11" flywheel on the single holed shield?
