Has anyone used these with the nylon spacers?

My T&D rockers use nylon (or some type of plastic) spacers.

Did they look like these and have you had any trouble with them?

They are just spacers. Wouldn't worry me a bit.
But I did make aluminum spacers to use with my crane gold, in place of the springs. Better to properly locate the rocker, and reduce side load.

Those spacers are UHMW, it's incredibly tough... We use it a lot in areas were steel wears out the UHMW lasts four times as long as steel...

Jim was told they would melt/deform from engine heat

I didn't read the Wikipedia article, scanned it but they buried the pertinent info & I'm not sure I trust a source that anyone can edit by clicking on the link..

Mc Master Carr shows it at 275F Sure, higher would be better but if your rockers are at 275 your engine is gonna have bigger problems than melted rocker arm spacers....
