What kind of leaf spring setup seems to work best on a street/strip car? My dana doesn't have a way to mount a snubber so I was looking into something like Cal tracks and mono leaf or superstock leafs but I have no idea. Looking for something that will put the power to the ground, won't ride like a dump truck and isn't going to break the bank.
Engine makes roughly 650tq in a stock weight 69' satellite.

    Hello 69,
I am using Cal Tracs with their split monoleaf springs in my 66 Belvedere SW. I'm using shackles currently (thinking of replacing those with ball bearing sliders). The car seems to ride smoother than it did with old "beefed up" leaf springs and it weighs less!

Thanks Mike, I was leaning towards the mono leafs with the +1 inch ride height. from what I researched a lot of guys like them for the weight savings but couldn't find much else about them.

Anyone else? Still don't have a clue but leaning towards mono leafs or SS springs.

Did you have to modify the center bolt?
"Due to the nature of these springs, requires center bolt modifications & grinding to fit."

you can check my setup in my build thread, running mono leafs with the sliders, front drop hangers and double adjustable shocks, not sure how crazy you wanna go, I went with the hypercoil leafs, but it i were to do it again i'd buy the flexform leafs, they offer stiffer spring rates and less arch, other than that I'm pretty happy with my setup

On my Cuda, I use heavy duty (hemi style) springs + 1", locally-made CalTracs, and QA1 shocks. Works on the street and strip for me.
