Rear suspension

Try searching Greg Luneak Tri - City Competition in Vista, CA. The Launchers are his springs and still used by some Stock eliminator guys. Although Greg is now running a brand x he is a very smart racer and has a wealth of Mopar experience.

Did a search for Luniaks Launchers and am a bit confused as to wither it is in reference to the name for the cars or the rear suspension system they ran. If it is of the suspension system would somebody post some pictures?
Yes, love to see some pictures.

Greg Luneack S/S 63 Dodge or Ply. NHRA S/S #7031 {7013?}
worked or affiliated with or @ Tri City Competition

{possibly Gregg or different last name spelling Luneak}

IIRC @ Tri City Competition, was in Vista Ca.

{Luneack Launchers are stiffer, better leaf springs, not traction bars}

not sure if they are still affiliated or not, haven't seen any recent stuff
couldn't find a good photo, hard to find a recent address too, this is where it was

760-630-9094 {or possibly 760-591-0362) sorry if this is not kosher

I saw he was in San Marcos or Oceanside or San Diego Ca. area for a time

2010 Alessandro Trail, Vista Ca. 92084

here's Mike Delahany Max Wedge S/S
shows the suspension working/lifting & a little wheelie from under the rear of the car

"allegedly" has some of the Luneack Launchers S/S Leaf springs {don't quote me}

Thanks Bud,
Ther is not a lot of info out there on these things. I found a phone number but that was it.

Bobtile here's when I was slow. Caltracs 10.21 ET with a 1.41 60 foot. In all fairness the frontend was tied down with front end limiters which I raced for years and didn't notice them until I swapped out new shocks.

SS/AH cars are 4 link. I have several buddies that run stock eliminators. All but one use Calvert's stuff. The other has Tri City with Dreher Fabrication bars, which are similar to Calvert's.

Bob, get the Cal tracks on? I put them on mine, but along way from being on the road. instaled very nicely. When you order, if you do, make sure you tell them what front spring hangers you have. offset long, stock, ect.

i ended up doing this adjustable 4 link setup on mine. I wasnt a tough install and its fairly adjustable.

What was involved? Rough idea cost-wise?

Its about $1900 all together with the coil overs, 4 link, brackets and track bar. As far as the install, you knock a section of the frame, weld on the brackets and box them in (it doesn't tell you that you have to box them, but I am going to be pushing big numbers), and weld the brackets to the rear end and the frame.

oooo ooohh..I wanna see what turns them meats :toothy12:

The motor isn't in yet. It is in my signature. Aluminum gen3 426 hemi with a whipple 2.9L supercharger. It should be done and going in pretty soon.

This is the four link I used on my 1968 Charger. It was pretty easy to install and it cost $1340.00 with there shocks $1580.00 with qa1 single adjustable.
I have not had the car on the track yet so I can't tell you track performance.

I like the cross member added strength, and easier instal!

Doesn't look like there is any adjustability for the 4 link bars in that kit.
