Rebuilding LemonWedge.

Not seeing it.... Can you point me in a direction?

Truthfully, I'm not sure I need much front end wise, with the exception of possibly a K-Frame.

All of my suspension components appear to be okay. PLan is:
-.840 Torsion Bars from Charger Greg
-Stock lower control arms with Mancini reinforcement plates.
-Stock upper A-arms with offset bushings to add caster.
-Polyurethane bushings everywhere else.
-QA1 adjustable strut-rods
-Re-use all stock tie-rod and drag-link hardware.
-Re-use existing Calvert front shocks.
You found him already. It's Chargercraze. I thought you might need a pair of those headlight buckets and that marker lens.
PS: Your comeback battle plan sounds very sound, but double check that drivers Calvert shock and its travel, It could have a bent main shaft, hopefully not. Carry on to carry those fronts when you return.
 
Okay, thanks. I am working on the marker light housing.

The headlight buckets are an interesting puzzle. On a 67 Plymouth, the backing plate for the headlight assemblies are integral to the fender (pic #1). Apparently Dodge didn’t attack this the same way. The fiberglass fenders have indentations for the headlights which need to be cut for the headlight itself (pic #2). I’ll have to figure out a way to adhere the buckets to the glass backing plate. Right now my thoughts lie along the lines of simple boltholes with a backing nut on the back side. I have already sourced a set of Plymouth headlight buckets and trim rings. In fact I have a full set of (4) plus the pair that were not damaged from my car (pic #3).

By the way, Lee…. You’ll be interested to know the weights on the fenders:
Stock Plymouth steel fender: 34.8 lbs ea.
VFN Fiberglass fender: 14.7 lbs ea.
Difference: 20.1 lbs ea.
Glass fenders aren’t painted yet, and don’t have trim installed. But I’ll also try to shave some weight with fasteners. so I’ll call the difference 20 lbs.; X2…. Fender package should shave approx. 40 lbs from the nose of the car.

Where did you find fiberglass fenders that nice if I may ask? I bought the superbird kit from Stinger in Fl and they aren’t nearly that nice.

Fenders, hood, scoop, and rear bumper are from VFN. Front bumper will most likely be sourced from (edit) Larry at Sled City Fiberglass. The only one VFN had was a 66, with no marker light provisions. Hopeful Larrys item is similar to the quality of the VFN items.

This is great news.
Remember to try and use the largest diameter aluminum washers available where possible so as to keep those glass pieces from developing stress cracks over time. McMasters has a whole arsenal of aluminum fasteners in all grades of strength.
AAR/Stinger has some really good quality stuff from what I have seen at trade shows and actual cars.

Funny enough, my own steel fenders were a little over 40 Lbs heavier than the ultra thin gauge A990 fenders that I ended up driving across the country for.

More progress last night…..

I had to nearly remove the driver side door in order to get the the mangled mess of a fender off. But slow and steady ultimately won that battle. (Pics 1 - 3)

We now get a full look at the cowl sheetmetal. Real thankful this smack didn’t break the windshield. Pics 4&5 give a look at the cowl damage.

Closer inspection of the K-member show that it is indeed bent (pics 6&7) and pretty severely. Hard to see accurately in the pics, but the front driver side arm is bent upward pretty severely. With a lot of weight off the front end and the rear on stands, the car now sits with the driver side wheel off the ground. Thinking I’ll need a new K-member, so add that to the already bulging budget. Would prefer to utilize a stock unit and make modifications to shave weight and space. Anybody got a V8 K-member they need gone?

Somewhat cool that the Satellite emblem survived right at the point of impact (pic 8). Was planning on a GTX striped paint scheme with all GTX trim, including emblems. But maybe as an homage to the cars roots, we leave the Satellite emblems in place, with the X paint scheme?? I’ll have plenty of time to mull this over.

I see what may be the old wiper transmission arms still in place under the cowl. Off to the shelf space for a pound or so right there. Yes, I knew that K got K'd. You'll find another one to do some surgery on.
