Maybe I just got a bad can of the stuff, but that was the drippingest stuff I've ever sprayed out of anything. Used it on the roof of my '72 Charger where the 3/4 vinyl top will go. The material kept getting captured in the depression below the nozzle, they "plop, plop, plop" everywhere I moved. Turned the nozzle 180 degrees and it helped a little, did not solve the problem.

Got 'er all done, but man what a mess.

Of course, the battery on my camera died before I got to that part, so all I will be posting later is the aftermath.

Ive use that type before and it does have some issues. I know you shook, it, but this stuff needs serious shaking. I mean if you think you shook it enough, stop and shake it again.

I think it doesn't turn often at the stores and settles badly. It will work if you can get it mixed and there will always be some "spittle" but in the end its a specific application stuff.

What are you using it for? I only use it if I want to weld through it.

Ive use that type before and it does have some issues. I know you shook, it, but this stuff needs serious shaking. I mean if you think you shook it enough, stop and shake it again.

I think it doesn't turn often at the stores and settles badly. It will work if you can get it mixed and there will always be some "spittle" but in the end its a specific application stuff.

What are you using it for? I only use it if I want to weld through it.

I did do the super-extra shaking. For the week or two after I bought it I would turn the can over at least once per day, then at using time did a good 3 or 4 min shake after ball started rattling, then set up the camera and shook again for 2 min and several times through usage.

One thing it did not do was sputter. The problem was the spray collecting in the top of the can and then pouring/dripping out from there. Dribbled down the side of the can, straight out onto the roof, all over my wife's landscaping rocks when I shook the can up again.

Spraying the area of roof where the 3/4 vinyl top will go. Had POR-15 on it for 6 years or so but car covers and tarps rubbed it off over time and allowed a lot of surface rust.

I only use this as weld thru primer also but it is a little drippy as described.

I did not know you could use is as a weld-through primer, so now I know what to use for under the car everywhere, including where torque boxes will be added.

Yes, it is weld-through but its not pretty. The Copper stuff from Eastwood is prettier. Also, it is zinc-based so it will "chalk" and turn white, so its not the best primer if you don't top coat it.

Sounds like the nozzle was bad or had a plastic defect. I didnt have one that ran down the side.

Also, I am not a POR-15 fan. Many people are, but personally I don't like the stuff. I have tried many through the years and there are others better than POR-15. Don't feel like getting flamed, so PM me if you want my opinion

No flames, everybody likes what they like and dislikes other stuff. If I ever get this video done will be showing how my POR held up for 7 years or so.
