Square decking specs

Just wanted to verify the specs as far as piston deck height. Have heard 0.001 to 0.002 end to end.

Verify it as to what? If you’re decking one, you’d want it located off the main bore and hold .0002”. If you’re checking an assembled short block with a deck bridge, between tolerance stack up and piston rock, you’d be lucky to see it as low as .002 from end to end.

you are targeting the .040" to .050" sb 4.00" Bore quench distance dimension ? as "optimal" on a 4.300+" Bore BB Mopar W/Valves opening on the backside of the cylinder ? right ?

Try and stay on the Piston Pin centerlines down the bank when measuring with the deck bridge to minimize piston rock.
Yep, .001" to .002" end to end / same both banks/sides.
