Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

My guess is mid 15's
Did some search, looks like they were around mid to low 15,, basically same as the mudstains. Surprised they were even that quick. Some sources call for 14s, but that raises questions

As long as it feels fast we are good. Remembering the old days with bias ply tires and no traction. A powerful car that could burn tires a city block was impressive meanwhile a Dart or Nova with a small block could beat it to the next stoplight because it didn't waste time or energy making tire smoke.

According to the internet it was mid 14's.... but don't remember seeing one doing that unless it was modified a little bit.
For the tooners and tweakers.. yea
A 15.20 is probably very generous

I started the day with some Extra Caffeine coffee. A double. It's working.

Anybody have bird feeders up? I have a few but I'm patiently waiting for the humming birds to come back. Haven't seen any here yet this spring. They are fun to watch.

The Hummingbirds are back in Illinois, so they would be back in Iowa also. They've been back for a bit now. I don't have my feeder up yet, but I've seen a few whizzing by the window, and I saw one feeding yesterday morning at the restaurant when I was having breakfast.

They are in town here but I haven't seen any yet. They often come back to the same places they were at the prior year.

We have a resident pair that's here year 'round. We bring the feeder in to thaw it out on the cold days of winter. I knocked it over with the tractor spreading barkdust this week and glued it back together for the 3rd time.

Now that's cool that you have them year round.

Shortly after I bought my 92 5.2 Dakota (3.90 gears), I took it to the track and clicked off some 15.30's which wasn't all that easy on the stock tires. IIRC, my best was a 15.30 laying the throttle down easy. Later on I had some yahoo in a Mustang GT at a light look over at me as we rolled away when the light turned green. Mine didn't have a muffler anymore but still had the cat and it sounded pretty good. We both nailed the throttle at the same time and I pulled him by a fender and stayed that way through 2nd gear until I had to back out of it because of a car in my lane. A light up ahead maybe 5-600 feet turned yellow and I thought, cool, we get to do a dead stopped race....only the moron didn't stop for it.

It turned red and was red plenty long enough for someone to be in the intersection by the time the Mudstain made it. Luckily, no crash happened but that was my last street race against anyone and especially so against anyone it a freakin Mudstain.

I'm beginning with a single 16oz Miller....
...for breakfast?

I have been at work for about 4 hours and come home for an office work break and lunch. Made a nice flat white with the machine....almost done now.

Dropped a water blaster in for service for a client ...picking it up later today. :)

Just finished some supper. A BLT, a devilled egg, and some pasta salad. Oh and a Margarita.

We usually get lots and lots of hummingbirds every year. This year I put the feeders out in April like every year and so far we have only had two hummingbirds, and the new cat ate one. I don’t know what’s up this year but there are very few hummingbirds. As for the cat, well I guess she is pretty fast because the other 2 cats have never been able to catch one, and they try like hell.

Sounds good. I might. Just a shot in a glass with a lot of ice. Simple but good.
I'm not a big margarita drinker but my go to is the 6/6/6 recipe. 6 oz of tequila, 6 oz of frozen limeade and 6 oz of your favorite beer (propbably not dark). Blend with ice.

I know this is the wrong thread, so drink it with a cup o joe - the next morning.

Pretty much anything but politics and religion can be discussed. It's like a chat room.
