Morning everyone
Morning folks. Made it back from Wisconsin a little after 9 last night. Had a great day helping choose a barrel of bourbon for the group at J Henry Distillery. .
Looks like fun. Did you take the 64?
Hows the bourbon?
Bourbon was really good, the ryes were fantastic. We hope to work out a way to get a barrel of that as well. (fingers crossed) They raise their own grain on the farm, ship it off to 45th. Parallel for mashing distilling, and bring it back to their distillery maturation, blending, and bottling. Nope, no 64. Ted drove his Envoy. LOL
When we were in Kentucky I was hoping to do a little bourbon tour, unfortunately one of our group had a fuel pump issue. We spent the bourbon time repairing the issue. It was a broken wire.
Then we loaded all five of us and drove 40 minutes to a concert. It was a blast to have a car load like in high school.

Another fun day at work 
Itching to build my motor for next year... Can feel winter coming on.. a bunch stuff i want to do to my car but don't wanna take it apart yet. One main thing is taking the cover off the drivers seat bottom (and pray i don't hurt it) and run 1/4" wire long ways across the springs.. tightens them up a ton.. right now its pretty saggy from age. Will make driving a bit nicer. Would like to find my 50mph+ vibration before winter but.. lazy Hate running a car up to speed on jackstands. even with the tires off, just feel weird.
Like this.. i did it in my original seat springs which got stolen and it tightened them up a ton.. i did it like every 2nd bend though

Also wanna go through the trans again since it will be out, just to check it over and see if i can find why 2nd isn't hitting as hard as it should.. it's not bad just not BAM.. third actually hits harder which is testament to my skills of messing stuff up, Might block the accumulator this time.. i read so many different opinions, some argue it only makes going from like neutral to any gear softer but doesn't effect shifts between gears. My accumulator bore is scored pretty good so it's not great to start with..
P.S. i wish they would reprint the carl munroe book.. a used copy is almost $100 now.. will probably end up with the ebook
