TF727, Eliminating Kickdown???

Does anyone know the correct Process for converting a TF727 to Full Manual upshift/downshift, and removing/disabling the kickdown???

Instructions, Parts Lis, Vendors, anything that might help. im asking for a Buddy, ill be doing the conversion for him. just need a little guidence.

It,s all in the throttle body in the tranny...summit sells a few...cheetah makes a good one...tci has one also...

I've had two Cheetas now, and they have both worked fine. I can say that I wish the other brands Trans brake versions were a little more affordable!
I would have gone the trans brake route if I had the extra cash available this time around!
 
You can just install a B&M manual pack for a lot less money I'm sure. Not hard to do.
 
Im looking at the TransGo TF3, apparently its full manual conversion. Modifys the separator plate, and the valve body. lnstructions dont seem too hard. I think ill do it this way. Manual valve bodys are huge money fo what they do.
 
got rid of my cheetah for a Griner valve body ...... little over $200 .....
