Throttle Cable headaches

Hello again everyone,
Like many others I have a headache from trying to replace a throttle cable that snapped on a 70 Roadrunner with a 384. Manual transmission
I have bought two that do not fit, yet are advertised to be correct
Any advice on a source and actual cable length Both a 24" and a 21 1:4 were too long.
Can anybody advise a pissed off Mopar fan?

I bought the Lokar cable set that included an auto trans kickdown cable and throttle cable. Cut to fit. Works well and looks fantastic.

I'm running bouchillon performance cables on my 383 coronet. How much longer do you think it was ? Could you not loop the cable to make it fit ?

Tried looping and fanning it out a bit
Still too hard to press down on the gas peddle

Yes,
The gas pedal is a bit stiff to push down. Cable seams too long even at 20 1/4".

Try greasing the gas pedal pivot. Mine is a new pedal and feels stiff, too.
