Starting to cool off around here and I'm recovered enough that my thoughts have returned to fishing. I power washed the boat before I put it under cover and it still look OK enough that I won't be embarrassed when I launch the old girl, she's a 2001 model and still in great shape. Got the trolling motor batteries charging and the starting battery still has a great charge on it from just before I put the cover on early this year. The crappie run should be starting up on Lake 'O' here shortly and I want to load up on some slabs. I also want to head down to the Keys to stockpile some snapper. I'll let you guys know how I do.

Looks like a nice boat.
Thanks, it's small enough for one old man to handle and gets shallow for the kind of fishing I like to do down in the keys. Low maintenance so far, so I'm good.

Love hitting the Crappie up here too. Good eatin’. Been a couple seasons since I’ve been out.
