Anyone try the TTI shorty headers with 2.5 collector? Wondering at what HP range they become restrictive?

My 65 Fury has a set of them. I have a 440 with tunnel ram and two 4 bbls. It is difficult to say with accuracy. I am running a full 2 1/2 inch exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. It seems a little 'lazy' above 5000 rpm. It still feels great up to that point. I can't post any times as they won't let me run without a rollbar (dang it).

Badvert65, what is the rest of your 440 setup like? Heads/Cam/Stall Speed/Rear Gears.

mild cam, similar to the Mopar 484 cam. I got big valve 952 heads that are ported fairly much. compression is 10.4:1. B&M Holeshot converter (about 3000RPM stall), manual shift torqueflite that has been heavily beefed up for racing. Running 3.91 SureGrip in an 8 3/4 and 15 inch tires/rims. This setup with a single carb and a TM7 manifold went 12.35 @ 108 in the quarter but with custom big tube headers. When the custom headers started to crack and rust, I replaced them with the shortie headers as they were the only things I could find that would fit the 65 Fury. (a new set of custom headers was going to cost upwards of $2000-gaaaaa!). Anyways, they won't let me race without a roll bar now so I don't have times with the new headers. Feels like it will still run in the mid to high 12's. It's hard to describe, but I can feel a difference starting at about 4800 RPM and definitely by about 5200.
I really like the headers for (hot) street applications.
