urethane and acrylic enamel mix ?

Getting the 66 closer to paint,but I find we have painted the door jams/under hood/engine compartment with acrylic enamel and the over all topcoat will be single stage urethane. Is there any problem with this mix? or do we do everything over in urethane?

As long as your enamel used a hardener, it should be just fine. People put clear urethane over enamel all the time.

i did my 66 fury the same way years ago and had no problems...the jambs and under hood had been done for a couple months before I applied the urethane to the rest of the car
