What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Just cleaning my pump action 22.
This is a really nice little rifle.
I bought it about 40 years ago for $75.00
I wouldn't sell it for 3 times that.

Just picked up a Savage model 4 bolt .22 last week....have no idea if it's worth anything but really don't care. Need to clean it and see what's what. It didn't cost me a dime because I sold 3 other rifles for someone that is a total gun hater.....

My buddies 2000 snap on lift seals went bad. Disassemble, sending it out for a seal kit etc…

You guys are having too much fun. I'm going in at 6:15AM tomorrow morning for a colonoscopy. Right now, I'm sitting at my desk, surfing on FBBO, and drinking the 2nd phase of the concoction that... well, you know.
:carrot:

Biggest job was yesterday. I pressure washed our deck to our shed… it’s one of those rewarding jobs when you are done…

Sat down with my Accountant for the annual chitter-chat about my earnings.

We got ours within $12.

Claiming victory.

Started mowing the pasture on Saturday, then the power steering pump on the tractor started spewing fluid all over the place, cutting my job off at the 1/3 mark. My son and I cut down a bunch of limbs along the fence line.

Put my new duck head on.

Only $20 and came with replaceable scratch guards.

Haven't had the "moment of truth" yet, though.

Moved this speaker cab across to the other building.
Someone gave it to me last year.
This is the first time I've looked at the bottom/back.
Holy crap, it's self powered and either 700 or 1000 watts!

I find shelves like these on the side of the road all the time.

This one was from last Thursday.

Real 1x6 construction.

They work great sitting on or under the perlins in my shop.

Would cost $50 to build one.

It's the mount/demount head for a rim clamp tire changer.

The "duck's" bill holds the tire iron under the tire bead to dismount, the "tail" slides the bead down and onto the rim.

Guess I've been a bad influence on my soon to be Son-in-Law..since he has been around me and my 1984/93 1st Gen cummins Crewcab W350....
;)

He decided recently that he wanted a 1st or maybe a 2nd gen so he has been trying to find one within his budget, and I have been looking as well. Well I sent him a link to a pair of 1st gen's about a 4.5hr drive from my place that I thought would be a good deal if they turned out to be decent trucks. He contacted the seller and they were still available so yesterday I hooked up my trailer and buzzed out there in Patches with him and my daughter to check them out.

This one is a 2wd auto and was being driven regularly up until last year and other than some dents and him wrecking the drivers door it was in pretty solid shape, think it has around 325K km's on it.

The other is a W350 Clubcab with a Getrag and 3.54 axles...been sitting for a couple years, another drivers door that is destroyed as well.
[laugh]
mileage is 587K km's and due to a bad starter does not run.

He brought it up out of the lower part of the farm and into his shop,

Then with his huge overhead crane just lifted the front of the truck up and then lifted the back with the Kubota and I backed under with my trailer,

Loaded and ready to go...

He got a screaming deal on both trucks IMO and we are going to get the chassis and drive train sorted out on the W350 then swap the body over from the 2wd, but in the mean time he'll be driving the 2wd.
