Whole lot of shakin' going on.

Nope, just taking a wag I'm a good 250 mi or more away from there.....and just now seeing it on the 9:00p news. Yeah I record the news too so I can zip through the commercials and all the other garbage that I've already seen or heard about lol. Wait a minute. There was also one in Texas and that's the one I was thinking about. I need to read these posts a little bit slower. I'm in Southeast Texas....ESE of Houston.
My apologies, Cranky. I thought you
resided in SW TX.
I live 260 miles from the epicenter,
it was quite a jolt.

Looking over a map of where the epicenter was in Texas, I'm over 500 miles away. Probably why I didn't feel it and I'm glad of that. Been wondering when and if one is ever going to hit here. I'm sure things would shake very well with the type of terrain we're on. Might talk to my brother in law about it as he's a geologist.

you start noticing them when they get to 5+
don't feel them much up here now, compared to the Bay Area
we have lots of granite under us here, when it does rock & roll 'it's bad'

hope all is well, no real damages

Did the walk-a-bout. No damage other
than a cracked pvc vent pipe in the
basement wall. Easy fix.
