Whats going on mike hope too see you out there soon !! my new 500" Engine should be finished soon !!! (Dam Engine Builders) Lol

Jewelry there. I can't afford these big name fancy carbs. I like tweaking the out of the box Holley carbs to make as much power as I can. In fact, I was able to make these make more power than some other QFT & Demon carbs we use as test carbs. These Holley's are now also nice & street friendly as well.

Once ya get hang of it,and you have a data logger,it's amazing what you can do!!!

Same thing happened to me - everybody kept saying 850 is the biggest you should go, car went fastest with the 1050 even on a .030 over 440. Are you into the 9's now Mike?

I raced the March Meet last month. Out of 225 cars in the bracket class I got down to just 16 cars left...then I just got beat, although I ran a 10.20 on my 10.18 dial but the guy I got beat by had an almost perfect run...he ran 11.66 on is 11.65. Next race is MUSCLE CARS AT THE STRIP (the race that I still call the MOPAR NATIONALS) at the end of this month in Las Vegas. All ready.

No 9's. 10.158 @131+ is the best so far.
I can't make any more HP from my 2 Bolt Block (even though I have a Steel Billet Girdle and Steel Billet Main Caps) because I don't want to blow the bottom end out of it.
Now my continuing "need for speed" is to shed about 150lbs off my sled to run a 9.999 and then I will be DONE.
