Why do you say Carlisle may not happen? They moved Spring to the end of May last is saw.

But yes, anything scheduled in April and early May seems to be postponed or cancelled.

The venue calendar looks pretty full.If they start rescheduling stuff it will all be tentative.........
This pandemic is not ending by Easter as some would like to see.

As Carlisle Events prepares for the start of car show season and Spring Carlisle April 22-26, we continue
to monitor reports by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization and
local authorities regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, also known as the Coronavirus. This event and all
others on the schedule will go forward as planned at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and neighboring
facilities, while also making top priority the health, safety and wellbeing of our guests, business partners
and staff members.
Events at Carlisle are a destination for car lovers from around the world, so before traveling, we
encourage attendees to be vigilant by staying informed and aware of relevant health announcements and
updates.
Carlisle Events is taking the following measures within the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and Carlisle
Expo Center in preparation for our 2020 event season:
 Carlisle Events and its neighboring properties will be adding additional sanitizer stations to the
food court, entry gates AND guest services.
 ALL ticket takers and hand stampers will be offered gloves and hand sanitizer that is 60% (or
greater) alcohol.
 Carlisle Events has secured a disinfectant from the suggested CDC list that quickly kills viruses
and bacteria. This, combined with portable hand sprayers will be utilized in bathrooms, the food
court, vendor services, guest services and within the Carlisle Expo Center as part of auctions and
third party events.
 Make available disinfectant wipes and sanitizer at ticket booths, vendor services, guest services
and the Carlisle Expo Center.
 Communicate these measures to our guests, staff and business partners.
 Per CDC guidelines, consider the following:
o Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
o Don’t shake hands with anyone.
o Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
o Cover a cough or sneeze – preferably with a disposable tissue.
o Avoid touching your face – especially your eyes, nose, and mouth.
o Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects.
o Stay home if you have flu-like symptoms.
o Current CDC Guidelines/Preventative Measures (Click/Tap to learn more).
Carlisle Events will continue to monitor and assess the progress of the COVID-19 outbreak, and will take
the necessary preventive measures, in accordance with recommendations from health officials, to ensure
the safety of our guests, business partners and staff.

Hemi-itis, We are on a governors lockdown here in the State of Mich right now, for the next two weeks here. Man.. I do not know what is going to happen, it looks pretty dreary here, so not sure. I know I am very concerned about going to any show, because I have COPD, and definitely DO NOT want to contract this virus. I will. wear/and do wear my N95 mask, when I go anywhere!! It will be very hard on us if we lose out on Carlisle this year, but the way it is now, I am not very hopeful! I very much hope there is better news by the 1st of July! Let's try to be hopeful!!!!!!! @Dodge33

How about the Dream Cruise and roadkill nights?? I spectated last year and would love to be able to drag my brick to race and cruise!!

If everyone would have stayed put for the last 2 weeks I think we would be ahead of curve about now. Saw today where people leaving NY for FL so we may have a whole new spread there. I understand not wanting to stay in NY and NJ, but moving to other places is crazy.

Florida governor said yesterday that there was about 190 planes from NY city area going to Florida every day and he was going to have people tested from NY and NJ getting off planes here. It must have had an impact. Local news channel was at Palm Beach International today and showed that there was only about eight people on the plane that they looked at. Sounds good, but they probably are already here.

Waiting for Hot August Nights to cancel. That’ll crush Reno. Couple million $$$ infusion there. Went to Reno one time when no event. Jesus Chrysler. Derelicts and unsafe after dark.

I hear that the college kids are on spring break partying down where you are in Florida @wahya. The kids technically say "we don't care if we get the virus, the country is shut down but that doesn't mean we can't go out". The country is closed for a reason, and a very bad one at that. The kids going down to party just increases the chances of the virus spreading and getting worse. You want the virus to end or not....geez. I just don't understand why they don't stay the fug home.

I got a feeling 90% of the car shows will be canceled this year. You never know though, never say never. Anything can happen, I somewhat have hope

And now that their schools are closed guess where they go..... home to Mom & Dad who are most likely in the age group more likely to suffer severe symptoms if infected.
Thanks Son

No car stuff in AZ and we aren’t shut down like other states. We got lucky the auctions weren’t shut down. I think last weekend Good Guys was supposed to be here but not sure that happened.
On the good side my 60-90 minute commute home is 35 minutes now.

Maybe

EAA Airventure

Especially with that it brings in people from all over the world

It's a flu virus, and hopefully it will pass when spring arrives, temps rise up, and the Sun shines longer. Watch over yourself, family, friends, and follow the guidelines presented. We should all be out, and back to our lives as soon as this passes.
