Just curious what the difference between the 2 sizes of wrist pins are 4 pistons?
1.094 and 0.990. Would it make any difference on machining or strength in a 500-550 hp rebuild? Oh yeah its a 440 engine. Thanks alot?

The 1.094 is the stock Mopar size pin and the .990 is BBC pin size. If you are going with a stroker kit use the .990 pin size for less weight. Also the smaller size doesn't intrude into the oil ring as much depending on the stroker combination.

I see thats the only difference, makes sense thanks alot,I am not building a stroker as of now but will remember that for future reference,Thanks alot!

Most of the pistons with .990 pins are used in stroker applications since it requires a rod change.
