As it turns out, the paint settled and looks great this morning. Onwards to the roof! Well, as soon as I buy more activator that is...lol.

Went to a local car show today, not much there. About a half dozen Mopars and the rest was local junk. The Blue super bird is my pal Gary's. 1 of 308.

Plus I put the scoop on the hood in preparation of glazing the scoop to smooth it out. Fabricated the scoop lip hold downs.

Getting out of the shop and looking at other peoples cars is the best motivation.
Some of the engines I see make me know my motor is spotless. Rusty crusty junk out there...of course, mine will look different too once it's run for a few years..lol.

The BITCH...
don't look under her 6bbl liftoff hood,
the engine paint flaking off
& dull org. LL1 paint in the engine bay
& then sort of 10#s of stuff in a 5# package
thicker core alum rad., overflow bottle, cooling/fans, custom shroud
& all the electronics, with mostly stock/updated CEI M&H engine wiring,
then the added relays/panel & extra fuse panel,
wiring, plug wires & heat shields
or AN stuff, a touch of natural alum & chrome
it's all 'sort of' sanitary
but; busy busy busy

it's a driver, 15 - 17 years now
I'm so ashamed :poke:
I never open the hood when I'm out anyway
she just sits in the garage with the 6bbl hood sitting on the roof,
dusty ol' girl
she's no 'show girl'

yours will be/look great Randy

Well, I finally got back to it. I painted the bumpers and roof in Rat Rod Satin Black and the sail panel trim. The roof is stripey because i cant ******* reach high enough to get the gun square with the surface. Damn it. I'm going to have to set up some kind of scaffolding to get me up high enough to get it right. The bumpers and trim came out fine though.

You are solidly in the "You Suck!" club with your '67! The '66 and '67 cars are the best-looking B-body cars out there, over and above the "me, too!" '68-'70 cars. I was trying to guess your taillight on the other post you have, and was thinking Cougar, but T-Bird was pretty close. Shoulda been that way all along.

Black bumper bolts and exhaust tips. Definitely!
