Watched the first two seasons. It's Sons of Anarchy with cowboy hats. I like Kevin Costner along with most of the cast. Dialogue is good. But I roll my eyes at the silliness of the gratuitous violence. They average 3 homicides per episode; more than the Sopranos.

Got a kick out of the last episode where the girlfriend wanders into the bronc-rider's hospital room just as the nurse is removing his catheter. "Is that the natural size or is it swollen from his injuries?"

I agree it's a great show
my favorite TV show right now
my dad loves it too (that's rare)

IMO it needs to be 1 hr & 30min.'s or 2 hrs episodes

the 1 hr goes by, way too fast

a tad unrealistic, all that **** happens in one 7 gen. ranch family
in Montana
but love the plot lines

I really like the characters Rip & Casey (Casey's wife has come around too),
John (Kevin Costner is great too)
Beth is a total bitch, serious issues, but does it for her dad
(there's a good woman in there somewhere)
Jamie, seems to have turned a corner & wants to do best for the family
instead of take them down, lie when he was running for AG the 1st time
(strange they killed off the oldest son in the very 1st episode)
That Indian dude is a good character too, I don't trust him
even if he's now fighting for the same things, same for the Gov. lady...

villains or Dutton's, Yellowstone Ranch adversaries
are really easy to dislike

good writing & keeps you on your seat, what's next

beautiful scenery too

almost like it's on pay TV, not network reg. TV, like Paramount
adult content, cursing, violence, T&A
