your favorite breakfast cereal?

When we were kids on the farm we ate a lot of cream of wheat if we ate cereal. Luckily, my Dad preferred eggs and hamburgers for breakfast, which we ate after milking the cows in the morning.

I'm a hybrid kind of guy. I usually mix Life with Crispix. Maybe throw some multi grain cheerios in for a triple header.

I haven't put sugar on cereal in decades - probably since I was a kid. Hard to believe we even did that. The sugar on Life is enough sweetness for me. When we were still camping, I liked to get the individual boxes and have Sugar Smacks or Frosted Flakes for a little treat.

Another treat is to put some half and half on the cereal - mixed in with the milk. It's really creamy that way. Actually, after decades of drinking 1%, even whole milk has that effect, now.

Not to drift the thread toooo far, but seeing the Aussie post above makes me need to ask if anybody there actually eats vegemite?
My niece brought me back a jar of Kraft Vegemite....my GOD is that some nasty tasting #$%^ !!!!
How the hell anybody eats it is a mystery .
I had some on toast about half hour ago. I eat it everyday, it's an acquired taste for sure.

I had Cheese & Marmite sandwiches again today..... morning smoko and lunch. My bud Andre wasn't too happy with me about 1:00pm..... it was a confined space and the place started to wreak of rotten eggs after a while. I apologised and all was well in the Universe again..

Smoko for those who don't understand - Aussie & Kiwi slang for "Tea break, or lunch break" at work..... reminds me of a song....

:p

I don’t really eat breakfast but my fav cereal which I’ll occasionally have for lunch is Peanut Butter Capn Crunch with a table spoon of chunky peanut butter.

I love the taste of oats. Life cereal is great, though I will put a teaspoon of sugar on it. When I was a kid, our family toured the Quaker Oats cereal factory. I'll never
forget how wonderful Life and Capn Crunch tasted, right out of the ovens. It was truly amazing, eating that stuff.... just made/warm cereal.

The Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company is the trade name of two sister food companies (Australian Health and Nutrition Association Ltd[1] and New Zealand Health Association Ltd).[2] Both are wholly owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.[3]

Founded in Melbourne, Victoria, in 1898,[4] Sanitarium has factories in Australia and New Zealand, producing a large range of breakfast cereals and vegetarian products. All the food products it manufactures and markets are plant derived or vegetarian. Its flagship product is Weet-Bix sold in Australia and New Zealand.

We each have our own marketing and branding..... Australian created and shared by both Nations. :)
