Thanks Ron, that's an interesting take on their choices, I agree with most of them, IMHFO one of the most overlooked B-Bodies are the 3rd gen 71-74 Chargers & especially the 73-74's or 73-74's Sebrings/Satellites/RR's they still can be had for a reasonable price... I do like the wagons too...LOL... the D series & Ram trucks are plentiful, but the 72-79's are much harder to find a decent "non-trashed" one now thou, especially the W series Power Wagons, they didn't have the mid 60's-early 70's D or W series Pick-ups, they are still cheap/inexpensive too, but most were rode hard & put away wet, worked to death & beat to sh-t.... the post 73 A-Body Darts & Dusters are getting much harder to find {at least out here}, that aren't total rust buckets, but can be had for a decent price, if your willing to do some serious rust repairs... I would like to have a nice mid 60's-early 70's C-Body 2 door HT Big Block "land yacht cruiser" some day too, but I like my 68-70 RR's & Chargers still the best, the cars are still somewhat cheap/inexpensive, in the scheme of things, usually basket cases now, but IMHFO it's all the necessary parts to rebuild or restore them that's hard to find or absolutely thru the roof in cost or artificially inflated prices...LOL.... The 4 doors just aren't real desirable to most, have 2 too many doors, for the average builder/collector so they will be plentiful... my $0.02 cents

I've read that article also ron and it is an interesting read. Bud I like your intake on the availability and desirability on the vehicles. I wouldn't mind finding an older dodge power wagon myself, but around here if they're fixed up they are out of my price range and if they are beat to hell it cost tooooo much to fix them.

Surprisingly good article. I'm usually not a fan of anything that hack Randy Bolig is associated with.

I will of course agree. I couldn't be happier with my '74 Charger. Considering how reliable it's been, how great it drives, how awesome it looks, I got a great deal on it and it's all I need in a classic car. As much as I drool with envy over cars I see on this site, the amount of cash I've spent on mine has been so low that I get to spend the money I saved on gas!

I really want a 71 Charger with a decent strait body, the rest I don't care, to be able to resto-mod, BB or Hemi, 6 speed, slammed, triple black, w/go wing & louvers, bulge hood, nice big forged wheels & sticky rubber, trick suspension, so it handles like it's on rails... Someday when I have money again anyway... I also want another 66-70 Power Wagon, lifted With a/BB 383-440+ EFI or maybe Gen 3 5.7ltr.-6.4ltr. Hemi, 4/5spd, full floating Dana 60's frt & rear, 40" D/C Swamper's, like I had years ago, but much better than my old 66 W-200 w/440, I shortened the frame/boxed & put a short bed on my old beater truck... Lots of stinken' Money is all it takes...LOL...
