I know someone posted about this but I'm at a loss to find it. I turned my oil pump with my 600RPM drill and got 40psi. Motor is rebuilt never run yet. Is this to low? Should i be concerned------Thanks

if it's a stock pump with a stock oil pressure relief and something like 10-30 oil then thats probably correct. stock wedge pumps had 45psi relief springs. i think '70 and up 6-paks used the street hemi 65lb spring.

If your bearing clearance is .004" or lower, the lifter bores aren't worn out and every thing is installed you'll be fine. I've run to 7000rpm with 40 psi w/o issue. Flow is more important than pressure. Running thicker oil to increase pressure just lessens flow. My race motors run 5w30.

No go Pro as of yet.
With 10 lbs of boost and tipping the scales at almost 3900 lbs the bet ET so far was 9.88,best MPH was 140.
Got my comp licence this year so now I can turn the boost up some:blob1:
