Hey guys I'm currently building a 360 and was hoping I could get some advice. It's going into my 74 d200. I'm going to be using some cheapo eBay hyperutectic 9:1 Pistons. Haven't cc'd my heads but I doubt they've had any work done to them most likely stock valves as well. Have an edelbrock air gap intake for it. The plan is to pick a cam that'll work decent with the stock heads but in the future when I can do cylinder heads still have some room to breath. I'm looking for a somewhat daily driver but I'd like to liven it up a bit. I'm drawn to the "purple shaft" cam line but all suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance!

Bhealey would love to see picks of that truck i'm in the process of restoring a 73 step side ! also sorry not to familiar with the 360

My 2 cents worth is if you have the heads off, do a pocket port, clean up below the valve seat. Much power, no cost. Cam selection is a really hard call.

Here's a couple pics from the guy I bought it off. I'm keeping it at my grandmas house so I'll take some more next time I'm down there. I've only put 150 miles on it trying to limp it home but I absolutely love it. Do you have any threads on your restoration id love to check them out and pick up a few things!
