Greetings from UK where the beer is warm and toast is eaten cold....wouldn't have it any other way!

Bought myself a 68 Road Runner clone back in 1991. Ran it for 6 months before it packed in. 25 years later, I still have the car (it's been with me longer than my 2 ex wives) and have dragged it around a series of new addresses as we moved houses over the years watching it deteriorate more as every year passed....much to my absolute shame.

Now I'm 48 and would like to drive the thing again before I'm past it, I thought I' best make a start and get it back on the road!!

Always looking for inspiration/tech help and a good supply of parts that will certainly need replacing!!

Not that techno savvy I'm afraid, still move in the world of Nokia 3310 phone which isn't quite up to iPhone spec!!

Car is in reasonably good condition, bit of welding required (sail panel and other usual places). Had it resprayed in a Ford blue a number of years ago over the original factory bronze green, don't know why I did that the the new paint has helped keep the body in a reasonable state through numerous Northern European winters.

Car had a 383 when I got it but that died early on. I bought a replacement 440 in bits and just never got my finger out to put it together and in the car. The 440 is way past any use now as its so badly corroded but I bit the bullet and bought another 383 a few weeks ago (with all the bits) that has had all the work done to it. Just need to put it together and drop it in the car. Will require bits like new wiring harness, oil pump, little bits and bobs.

Feel more positive about seeing the thing on the road now than I have for decades!!

Welcome, plenty of vendors on here for "bits and bobs".

Funny old thing, that's not looking massively different to mine. Mines non metallic slightly lighter blue, not a bad colour to be honest even though it was spawned from Ford!! Got my Magnum 500s but no Plymouth decal or rear trim on trunk and I've got the matt black square on the hood/bonnet, '68 style. Will try and sort some pics.

Welcome to FBBO from warm & dry NorCal
The UK can be warm(ish) and dry(ish).....just not very often or predictable. But by God, it is green and lush......unfortunately, not the best conditions for outdoor car storage!!!

Welcome from Virginia

Welcome from Minnesota....can't wrap my mind around the warm beer though.:p
