I had to install a new fan a few weeks ago.I had installed a $200 Afco aluminum radiator a month ago for the weight saving.Used that dual set up I have been using for 10 years.It never went over 200* in bumper to bumper traffic.Well,,,,,,during a pass at Atco one of the fans centrifugally exploded at 130 MPH.I saw a small chunk fly up and came right at me but just went over the windsheild in the airstream.I installed a single Spal 16 inch pusher fan that is rated over 2000 CFM.Install was a breeze and I NEVER had this much air through the rad!!Blows so hard it cools the WP when the engine is off and the fan is on.Bought mine at Jegs ..........

Nice ride. This may sound like an insane question but is your fan actually pushing and not pulling? Also, is that really a 10" fan? It looks larger. Would the addition of a shroud assist with directing more (hopefully cooler) air through the radiator. I'm not familiar with Water Works but would think any good high volume pump would help. One last thought: I'm not a big fan of additives but as a temp fix, Water Wetter has gotten me out of a few jams. GL.
I'm not sure of my timing. What do you think it should be on a low compression 8;71 supercharged 440 with Indy heads ? Just wondering ...I use a stant 160* stat.My temp normally won't go over 200*. My statc CR is 9:1,are you sure of your timing and AFR?? Maybe it is lean............
I would think it like timing in the 32* range.Made 5 passes on pump gas and 4 lbs of boost Saturday and found 25* to be my sweetspot. Your results may vary.......
Thats nice, do you know how thick that unit is at the motor and off to the side of the motor, i think i could use that because the motor is off set, i have 2 1/2 inchs between my radiator core and the water pump bolt heads.I feel your pain .I went through the same crap. pushers / pullers yada yada yada tried every combo was o.k. driving but if I got into a traffic situation i was in trouble
part of the problem is shrouding , you don't have enough,you need to seal up the radiator so the fan can do its job efficiently.
because of the blower pulley clearance problem I relocated
the radiator to mount in front of the support .know you can shroud the complete radiator from behind and put two puller fans.or one big puller.
