So that's You in the Dos Equis "most interesting man" commercials?
I'm slow, I'm not getting the anvil.....oh wait, now I got it....the ACME anvil!
Deffo on the same page with "kiss my *** purists" :)
The purists flat lined when I re-rigged the flip up headlights on this.

Do you own the car in picture? Looks like a Toyota 2000 GT.

Used to own it 79 - 81. 1970 deTomaso Mangusta, predecessor to Pantera(Panteras were assembly line cars), but only 401 hand built, Ford 302 mated to ZF t-axle. 1967-1971. In middle of production DOT mandated that the headlight beam be raised, so deTomaso rigged Lancia style flip up 7 " single beam headlights(Marchals) that were always exposed at a downward angle in retract, but raised above fender decks when deployed. Cable operated "band aid" that sucked, I hated em, so I fixed mine in grille nacelle. The other cars had fixed quad lights in grille nacelle.
A Friend of mine owned a Toyota 2000 GT...only 35 or less of those. IMO, one of the only Japanese cars to qualify as a True Classic. Yamaha built the engines & trannies for those....very cool cars!

Nickname "Moose" dates back to the 60's - apparently I wasn't very graceful & one of my work buddies hung the name on me. Stuck with me ever since!

The pic is from 2014 the day I put the new Magnum 15" wheels on & took off the old 14" road wheels.

Maybe you can make it to Carlisle this year?

I sure hope so as I like to put my car in the showfield since that way I can sit by my car a lot because I cant do a lot of walking with my knee and back problems. Ron

I might have my '62 there this year if all goes right. I'd have to be in the '62 modified so I'd be right down from you!
