Remember the old Plymouth Trouble Shooting contests? My Dad was the high school Auto Shop teacher, and one of the contest judges. I found this sticker that he gave me in my old photo album. As a kid, I remember him doing it. It would have been about 1971 or 72. The Plymouth dealer loaned him a car to "sabotage" for the contest. I remember it was a green 71 or 72 Satellite station wagon. Thought you guys would appreciate the pic.

Found these pictures that are related to your post. I take no credit for these pictures. I got them from this site I think. Credit goes to the original poster.

There are a few other threads on this.

We had K cars :(

The 86 one is mine.

I couldn't resist the 68 one from ebay.

That's so cool! I really missed out being born in late 69...

I was born in '68, hence the attraction to the 68 trophy.

They were still going in the 80's.

I also got the fender cover in my avatar.

My older brother participated in 1972 at Chryslers Shawnee Kansas training facility. I have the 1972 Chrysler/Plymouth FSM he recieved for participating.

I went to a vocational high school and remember in '68 they held it. I was scheduled for it but didn't get to go because I skipped a week of school and got caught prior to the event. But I got into GM Training Center after high school. (Sorry about that GM thing :p). Thanks for pics.

I forget where I pulled them from.. Might have been here. Credit goes to the original poster. I take no credit for them. I just thought they were very cool.

Wow just noticed one of the guys in pne of those photos. Looks like the older brother in Home Alone.

I was a Zone Mgr for Sun Equipment in the early
70s.
We supplied the equipment for the contest, was at the one in St Louis back then

I "stole" that 68 trophy for $40.

The next one I saw went for over a hundred twenty five.

That was how I fell in love with Plymouths. It was at our High School when they showed and a parking lot full of Road Runners.
