Remember the old Plymouth Trouble Shooting contests? My Dad was the high school Auto Shop teacher, and one of the contest judges. I found this sticker that he gave me in my old photo album. As a kid, I remember him doing it. It would have been about 1971 or 72. The Plymouth dealer loaned him a car to "sabotage" for the contest. I remember it was a green 71 or 72 Satellite station wagon. Thought you guys would appreciate the pic.

That's so cool! I really missed out being born in late 69...

I was born in '68, hence the attraction to the 68 trophy.

They were still going in the 80's.

My older brother participated in 1972 at Chryslers Shawnee Kansas training facility. I have the 1972 Chrysler/Plymouth FSM he recieved for participating.

I went to a vocational high school and remember in '68 they held it. I was scheduled for it but didn't get to go because I skipped a week of school and got caught prior to the event. But I got into GM Training Center after high school. (Sorry about that GM thing ). Thanks for pics.

70s.
We supplied the equipment for the contest,was at the one in St Louis back then

I guess they or their family didn't keep the trophy. One of these guys in the pic won this!

I "stole" that 68 trophy for $40.

The next one I saw went for over a hundred twenty five.

That was how I fell in love with Plymouths. It was at our High School when they showed and a parking lot full of Road Runners.
