Hi Folks, New member here. I just bought this 1963 Belvedere with a 727 and a dual-carb 392 Hemi.

It's a running, driving car. It's pretty straight, no current rust (but some filler under paint) and is mostly stock inside but with front seats from an Escalade. Wheels are new 17" Cragars.

Don't have much info on the engine other than it's a late Imperial unit & is modded with a Crower cam, Hot Heads intake, etc. Sounds very beefy.

Just wondering what an approximate value range would be on a beast like this, based on this admittedly sparse description! Thank you so much! Magazineman. (I make pistol mags)

You just met funny man.

Welcome aboard! Don't know what the value is or what it would command but it's a very cool piece!
I see you have met our current comedian! Dick Head is a funny guy and a fart smeller...er...smart feller but beware of his brother....Ben Dover...

Interesting, you just bought it... so you know what it's worth!
You bought it, ask what you think it is worth and see if someone else likes it better than you. My opinion, is if it were a Gen II Hemi it would be stellar.

may be he wants to flip and see what he should mark it up and make money sad part a lot buy things not knowing what it really is worth and spent more than what it is really worth and cant sell it at a mark up sad but true it happens to a lot of people thinking $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

it would be a lot better with a 426 Hemi in it ,but 392 is nice ,you have a nice car enjoy it burn the rubber off it  post some more photos of it

always wanted a black with red interior and a 426 wedge 4 spd still my dream to this day

A purchase price only establishes value when the item is sold on the open market AND available for for a reasonable amount of time. I'm a Realtor, I know what's a comp & what's not. When someone gets a "Bro Deal" --- like I may have on this car--- it does not equate to Free Market value.

So I came here hoping to get a ballpark, rough estimate from the good folks more heavily involved in this vintage of B Body, & type of mods, than myself.

--------------- I have no knowledge in this arena! Thx, -----MM

Not to be a smart ***

I like the style of the car/build
we need more information
& a lot more detailed photos

just to give a good "wild *** guess", assessment/s, as to it's value
even different states/location even have different perceived value
what a car can sell for here in Calif.
Vs or compared to back in the rust belt etc.
a lot of factor & variable here

you need to give US more

you need to know more
about what you're trying to get an accessed value for
for US to help you properly

But; IMO
since it's got a bunch of different assembled of mixed match parts,
from a bunch of different years or makes
it puts it in the wantabe' racecar
or resto-mod, hot rod, street-beast realm,
hard to put an exact # $ value, on it...

*what's the late 50's 392cid with 2x4bbls engine worth ?

*what's the sum of the drivetrain, trans, rear axle etc. worth ?
what gears does it have ?
does it have aftermarket axles ?
does it have a limited slip or a spool etc. ?
what kind of shocks, springs & suspension etc. is in it ?

*what kind of brakes does it have ?
& are they bigger/better ? or drums or disc's etc. ?,
hence the 17" wheels, might be for bigger brakes
I also noticed a dual resivour Master cylinder
(good for safety, came org with a single)

*what are the wheels & tires worth ?

*what's the 63 2 dr post coupe body worth ?
is the body truly rust free or just covered in Bondo ?

*what's the seats out of a Escalade worth ? (IMO not much here)

*what's the modifications worth ?

*does it have any chassis modifications ?

it's extremely hard to put a price on something with a bunch of
assembled & different years parts to someone's specific taste
to not totally insult you or the previous owner that sold it to you

you know what you paid !!
what is it you think you can get out of it ?

IMO;
I'd say it's worth the sum of the parts,
then divided by about -25% to -50%
depending on the quality of the work, maybe a little more

good luck with the sale

I'm with Budnicks, there,s a lot to consider
engine , who &how was it built?
Body condition
Suspension
Brake system
Etc
Etc.

I may be way off but if the body is in mediocre shape with a lot of obvious filler I would say 18-22k maybe...
A very good body/paint/interior $26-30???? May be pushing it...hard to tell with the limited pics.
You have to take into account its not a 68-70 Charger, Road Runnner, GTX or Super Bee w/ 4 speed and which are what a lot of B Bod Mopar fans want, especially the younger demographic. They don't even know what a Belve/Coronet/Fury/Satellite/Savoy are. Personally I'm partial to the older base models where all of the above originated from. Therefore Im thinking you are going to have to find someone that really likes old mopars or specifically a 63-64 Belvedere to get top $. JM.02

A Gen I 392 isn't a popular swap. Its a great street rod engine. Put a blower on it a glass hood and let it all hang out!

How much did you pay for the car? Might be useful information.

Being a big fan of Early "B's" and watching the market on them for years, High dollar (Non Max Wedge or original Hemi) you will find very nice cars in the $25 to 35,000 range. Most are hard pressed to see the high side.Way less than what it takes to build one.

I always felt a car is worth what the next person is willing to pay for it and what you accept for it, you may make a bunch, you may lose a bunch.
I do buy based on market as a guideline, but mostly buy because I want to have fun in it and drive, drive, drive.
Much easier for most to put prices on original equipment cars due to the data out there
