at an intersection on Friday night. So I switched lanes real fast and followed them in my (non-Mopar) American Muscle car. They all stopped at a local burger joint at about 11:00 pm. I revved it a couple of times and a few young men came over to talk. It was the 719 Wicked Club. I mentioned my son and the '71 Challenger and they all knew him. They all did a meet on Saturday night also.

It's a bunch of kids but if they are into cars more power to them. My son Bryce told me this chick was in charge of the club and was very organized. He also mentioned she likes showing what she's got. Here's the club page and her page.

The younger generation is going to gravitate towards what is affordable and currently available for them to fix up. The muscle cars we all like were affordable to me as a kid in the 80s, and littered the junkyards back then. Now this stuff has reached cult like status. I am sure some of them would love to own an older muscle car but just cant a afford it. It's cool to see the younger generations into this stuff even if it's the wrong number of cylinders, and wrong wheels driving it IMHO. The cool thing is you can learn things from them, and they can learn things from you about the hobby. My son and I are going old skool doing a 69 barracuda notchback for him. Not much into the buzz bombs.
