Does anybody out there still have a set of the original keys for their car?
Pulled these out today. They are worn so thin I'm amazed they haven't snapped. Looking at them brings back a ton of memories. I have a few copies on the newer blanks. Does anybody know if the old style blanks are reproduced by anyone?

I still am using the original ignition/door key for my 1964 Fury. There were 3 designs….

So when I was tearing apart my 68 Coronet which I got as a as a crusty pile I noticed something was stuck to the original horn... Didn't really pay much attention & just through it in the box of engine bay parts... Years later I was getting parts ready to install in the engine compartment & I rediscovered the item taped to the horn......

Again, the square blank. That tells me it is truly original.
When did the angled pentastar keys come in. 70?

69...

I suspect the keys from my Coronet were taped to the horn in the first couple weeks of ownership.... They are pristine....

Being that my key is for the larger locks I would think the pentastar key came earlier.

I trust you. Why would you lie about a thing like that?
I assume they are original since I didn't buy either car when it was new. The new keys work much better. I got one of the old ones stuck in the ignition once and liked to never got it out.

Nice now I can cut keys for all your cars. :wtf:

I have the originals for my '69 Bee and '70 Bird, both angled blanks... as I believe are RC's above .
