The guy is on Saturday Night Live making fun of a Presidential candidate, saying he could shoot someone and get away with it,and he did!

So.. By saying "I'm not buying anymore cars" Does that mean zero car purchases? Or does it mean you bought five cars last year and you won't buy more than five cars this year???? Maybe ween yourself off buying cars, five last year, four this year & only three the following year???? Or just hover around five a year for the next ten years....

You need a plan & you need to stick to the plan.....:poke::poke::thumbsup:

I just own 2 old Mopars. I did tell my wife that at 67, I'm not done with the car hobby. I still have a few years before they take my license away!

I like your way of thinking! Can I use that the next time I bring another one home? The last time I told her I was bringing a car home, she busted me on the God Dammed Ring doorbell camera. My friend and I pull in the yard with two cars on two trailers, and my phone starts ringing! I answer my phone, and my wife says, I thought you said you were buying "A" car,but I counted two going into the yard! I shrugged and said the seller threw in a parts car! I bought them while she was at work,so I could stash the extra car out of her site, she was watching from her damn cell phone! Damn technology sucks!

The last time I told my wife that I was not going to buy anymore cars. My friend called the very next day and asked me if I wanted to buy his 67 Coronet 500. So I bought it. So now I tell the wife, "I don't plan to buy anymore cars". I wouldn't mind getting a 78 li'l red express though.

I just took a deposit on my 79 LRT. I am selling it so I can use the funds to get my 78 LRT roadworthy again! The first three pictures are of the 79 LRT,the last two pictures are of the 78 LRT.

Good choice... Get the 78 up and running... Selling a few & putting the funds into another project makes sense...

Guy I knew (passed away a couple years ago) had over thirty cars, A/B & E bodies but not a single one ran & drove.... Shame of it is he painted my Green Challenger, very talented, metal work, body work, lead... But just never spent time on his own stuff....

I had the 78 running about 5 years ago,it was almost roadworthy, then the alternator gauge had a meltdown. When I reached up there to put it out the insulation behind the dash was on fire in my hand. I caught it right before the whole dash went up! It has been sitting ever since!

Yup, I watched him toil his life away, always trying to get him to focus on himself, do something that would have made him feel good about his life...When he passed he had a 3000sf warehouse full of parts, cars stashed all around town... Allot of it there was no paper trail and it either got scrapped or the person storing it kept it... Which is probably the best option... He had no close family, his mom passed within a few months, his sister is in Ohio & doesn't know squat about cars.... But she continues to pay the rent on his 3000sf shop.... Just a mess...

There is something about the feeling we get when buying something new to us.
It inspires hope, a series of "what ifs" and other plans for what you might do with it. I love the feeling.
