Whats up with Detroit Muscle Technologies / Mega kit

I'm sure he's a great guy.. but like many decades in and tired he probably could care less. As for email, he black listed mine... had to get Joel to contact them for incorrect parts shipped for my 64 after I first had to contacted them thru their facebook page instead and he made his Daughter take their FB page down, as "he didn't have time for this shat". Unlike every other resto vendor, he absolutely will not ship to Canada to other than his dealers. So be it, I'd rather give Nigel my money to skip the aggravation

That all said, DMT makes some damn great stuff and nobody else does!

Similar experience... Before Jim started DMT when he was researching I supplied him with a number of items for free so he could reverse engineer them.. He paid shipping both ways..
70 Challenger Tail lights
69 Road Runner Tail lights
68 Coronet R/T & 500 Tail lights
along with a few other items.
Always considered him a good guy & bought lots of parts through the years...

Then I ordered a couple of the newer style fuel tank fill pipe grommets through his store on Ebay...
And received the early style grommets... I emailed outside Ebay cause I didn't want to stir crap with Ebay.... After three days I got zero response so I tried again... Same deal... So I messaged through Ebay... And got no response.... In total I wasted three weeks & finally disputed through Ebay/Paypal.... Had to pay return shipping but got my money back.... And got blocked from buying from him.... This happened back in 22 & I've kept my mouth shut cause I feel like Jim's a really good guy, I don't want to drag him through the dirt & I don't know if his wife or kids might have been taking care of communications... But it seems I'm not the only one... So maybe it's time somebody reach out & point this thread out to him....

We will probably need a cooling system in the Tukvan, when we drive South. We do have opening air scoops at ankle level, both sides. Is there a simple 12 volt air cooling system. We have 12 volt E power, and solar panels, separate from the engine starting battery.

I bought everything I need for my 70 at Carlisle which is an AC car, They gave me the package price -10% for the show. Dang I could have hooked you up Dave but the weekend was a blur and didn't even think about it.

Well got my order and all seems good but the A/B bumper bracket gaskets. This is what I was sent. 2 1/4 diameter with 1/4 hole. I emailed Jim and asked for the correct ones. I did use PP so that should help if no reply.

IIRC those pictured look like they are the gaskets used in the heater box assembly or attachment.

If they were solid , they look somewhat similar to 70 charger grill mounting hardware. From memory

I will look tomorrow,they were on my charger. 4 of them,they should look like this. Bumper bracket to body seal

I would think at $630 for the Mega kit they would include the ac/heater box gaskets. I contacted them/James and they told me that it is a separate kit. Mega kit is for non ac.

You started the thread discussing the Mega kit and ac/heater box gaskets and then mention bumper bracket gaskets. That's confusing.

I clicked on the link in post #1 and it's dead.

So, what all is supposed to come in the mega kit?
