These things happen... i once ordered a Posi unit for my car and they sent me some "Sure-grip" crap.... not what i ordered!!

Please post some pics... GM is 3 bolts, mopar 4.. someone above mentioned the offset bolt but didn't explain it well..

Mopar TC's bolts aren't symmetrical so they only line up in one position (which is awesome if you don't mark it before putting it in) SOO... you end up putting a bolt in 1 hole.. spin the motor over and watch to see if they all line up now.. Nope? take that bolt out.. move 1 hole and try again... til you get the right one.

It sounds stupid but it's so people can't put a balanced TC on in the wrong position (i assume)

If you ever have it out and the flexplate out line it up on the tc and mark it like this.. no more guessing..

One more thing to look at, they are different for forged crank or cast crank engines, you need the right one for your engine. The one in iceteck's picture has the triangular weight on it for a cast crank engine.
Went thru this with the RR 440 recently.

Are you talking about the newer small block Magnum engines? Never ever pulled one apart. Always planned to pull the V6 from my 95 Dakota just to take a look but the dang thing won't die! It's worse than a /6!! lol
