What did you do to your Mopar today?

Started my 1968 gtx 440 engine today after sitting for 9 years ( no more cranking that thing over by hand every couple months after a total rebuild ) after putting in a new fuel pump today and a new oil pump. After burning through two spots on that temporary oil gauge line to the engine bay. I finely routed it away from all the hot engine parts for now. CAR SOUNDS AWESOME WITH THOSE FLOW MASTERS...Thanks to all who helped. Especially cranky.
 
Took mine out for a 10 mile drive. It's the furthest it's gone from home to date! Been waiting on all the legal stuff like plates, registration, insurance, to be completed so Mr law can't screw with me!
I think I have a plug wire bad now though,,,, I need to go out and check out if it's got a burnt boot or not. Sounds like it revs with a missing cyl. now! No biggie,,, thats what shake down runs are for... LOL I have a new set of wires waiting in the garage just for this.

Put center link on 66 and started mocking up driver's side exhaust headpipe.
 
Added a moroso electric waterpump drive for when we go to the drags. I also installed 2 new electric fans for the rad and new belts.

rebuilt my 4 speed a833 trans. installed the flywheel and pilot bushing also. hope to get the clutch on that and the bellhousing on tonight.
 
9/24- modified 5th Ave pass side brake line to work on 66. basically bent straight all but first length that fits 5Th Ave prop valve, then bent to match 66 line over firewall.

Came out pretty decent, with extra to be cut off and new fitting flared on.


9/25- After test fitting, measuring, test fitting again, measuring, marking, cutting, marking, etc...fabricated pass side head pipe, using factory 2" ball flange, parts store 2" 90*, 2 1/4 45*, and 18" straight 2 1/2 segment, including butt welding and filling gap on 2" pipe.

Did a decent job on welds cosidering about 3rd time welding.

Was elated at the result for 30 seconds until I realized I couldn't fit the ball flange clamp over the 2 1/4 slip connection.

Cried.
 
Installed my seat covers from legendary auto interiors.

Bucket seats were a lot easier than the back bench seat.

I picked up a dual plate Cheater Nitous kit for pennies and put it on my 493 Coronet 500 4 speed. I set it up for only 150 HP. That should be engough to break more parts somewhere in the driveline???
 
Fixed my mistake, and got more practice welding :)
