We have this on one of the Mustang sites I frequent. Basically post up what you did to your B-Body today. Whether it be paining, cutting, modding, etc. anything goes. Feel free to ask questions as well.

(Mods move if wrong spot)

I'll start:

Took the rear bumper off my '71 Charger. I'm working on removing all the brackets, lights and such. It's fun thus far since I've already broken two bolts. The PB Blaster and breaker bar are getting a work-out. It also bit me again - that's the fourth time this bumper has bitten me - deff. time to get it fixed. I need to find a chroming place nearby to redo the bumper, it's peeling and extremely rusty.

Anybody recommend a place near North NJ?

Post up guys!

Finished putting in a Pertronix billet distributor. It was considerably less than an MSD and since it's a street car, that was my choice. I've been running Pertronix conversions in stock distributors for a while and really liked 'em. The Pertronix let me put more initial timing in and then limit the total to 36 degrees. This seems to work with the gas I can buy around here. Also had to make a couple changes on my battery box because my new battery was slightly taller.

The other day I refinished the rear belt moulding piece on the right. Working on the other piece now. These are pot metal, the 2 door pieces to do next, are anodized aluminum.

Added two inches to my steering column tube and smoothed the underside front edge of my max wedge scoop. With luck I will get them painted today.

I went for a drive. After going up the ramp to the freeway, I noticed a pesky VW Golf attempting to overtake my entrance. Of course he was not going to allow me to merge, I stomped on the gas, 4 barrels opened up, hit third, wound it, hit fourth. looked in my mirror and saw the bug 2 miles back! Instant wood. Man I love the 60's B-Bodies.
