I painted my Cuda a newish F**D colour...naughty i know, but it looks amazing and i have been told countless times what a lovely colour.
Unless its a real rare one which mine isnt, do it what colour you like
Amalfi Blue / white billboards, see what you think

That combo is absolutely striking on that Cuda, nice choice!

383man, you have great taste as well, my `68 was and will be turquoise soon.

As far as the Bee, I would still like to know which green it started out as. Lot of green cars were made and seems to be prevelant in the cars that have made it this far. That car would look good in just about any color! How about B9 with black top, white stripe and white over black interior. My.02!

I'd say go with the original color combo, but if you've decided to change the color, F8 green on a B body is sharp. My '69 Bee is F8.

your car do what you want to do-my opp. original is the way to go--you might want to sell it one day and the oem get's more money than changed color-not a fan of clones or made muscle just my opp

I went with the sublime green. My next one if it's another non-matching number car would be Butterscotch (Bahama Yellow)

My brother in law some years ago had his 71 Cuda painted a Bahama blue, very nice looking but i have seen the butterscotch, it was a candy color on a 65 Buick that Chip Foose did, looked really good, even on the Buick...

That is a great looking blue!!moparperformance.. Your progress looks like its going smooth. I really don't envy you guys trying to pick a color, with so many out there and all the different shades of each, thats a hard one.

Paint brand and color code please!!!

That looks like what I want for the 67!

electric blue pearl over a white sealer. It's a Chrysler late model color, a very fine metallic. Base coat/clear polyurethane
B5 blue I think. When I get back to Ga hopefully next week end I'll grab the data off the can.

Nice color.
Capt. that house of kolour true blue pearl is awesome.

Colors

That color combo with the Torq wheels just plainly looks MEAN.
Remember a friend in High school had one like that one.

DO WHAT YOU WANT, WHERE YOU WANT,WHEN YOU WANT, WHY YOU WANT, AND IT WILL BE ALL RIGHT!! I may be wrong,?? but this was what I was advised to do as a teenager and I got in an ***-LOAD of trouble!!!
Doesn't really matter, I'm still doing MOPARS. Color smoler! If it aint rare, do what you want!!:headbang::headbang::headbang:

Back on the Bee!!

I'm back on the Bee! Yay ;D
A year and a half ago my wife was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. I live in Daytona Beach and the Bee is in my brothers shop in Brunswick Ga. Fast forward to now...... My wife went through the "process" and has been cancer free for the last 4 months:hello2:
I've decided to paint her ( The Bee not the wife) back Hemi Orange.
My question is..... Should I paint the dash the same as the exterior with a deglosser? Or a dull black? The interior will be all black this time around. Formally the inside and outsides of the doors were orange on the inside out with black inserts. The car was originally green, than red on the second repaint. Both times the dash color matched the outside. the previous owner brushed painter the dash flat black with a brush (windshield wasn't removed I guess) I've stripped the dash and will be ready to cut everything in either tonight or tomorrow and would like to know from everyone what do you think on the dash refinishing? I painted the dash of a car the same as the outside with out a deglosser so I know never to make that mistake again:iamwithstupid:
I'm on vacation from my job until the 7th of July, and so far I've worked 12 hours a day for the last 10 days in this Ga. heat. But I'm grateful to be able to hopefully be able to at get the Bee in paint this time.
Thanks in advance for your help and support. I appreciate it.
Bill

congratulations on your wife becoming cancer free. I hope she stays that way for a long, long time. As far as the dash, in my opinion, I would paint it the dull black to match the interior. That's what I did with my RR vitamin C w/black int.
