I will find history on your car

if i had a desire and a need there are systems in place that would allow me to track the vin number back to the day it was assigned to a vehicle.

but it would be illegal for me to use this system for personal gain or without the "need".

most people also forget that a vin number is not owned by the car, the dealerships, auto makers insurance companies ect...

can any one guess who owns a actual vin number, its not hard to figure out once you think about it. falls back on reasons why things are siezed and kept by law men.. ever have the numbers on a block checked by a dmv or stae trooper? or local cops who have access?

any time you have people dealing in high end products that bring very large amounts of cash, you will continue to have less that desirable people who would rather take that money in the cheapest and fastest way possible. if that means they get away with a repop tag on a fake car expect it to happen.

lucky for me i am the second owner and when i bought my car it came with every single item that was ever related to it. ins cards dating back to the late 60's ect.. almost freakishly weird that all this was kept.

I honestly beleive mopar megan has good intentions.
She is simply offering a service.
Who knows? I'm sure someone wants to know the history of their car AND (most importantly) does not have the time to research, it could be worth it.
Basically, mopar megan is saying to the FORUM: The service is available much like "Marti-Report" that I had done to my 69 BOSS 302. (SOLD) I also paid $150 for that research.
So, if WE want her service to do the research, it's available.
Thank you mopar megan! I'll consider your service
"Super-bee_ski"
70 Superbee (383) with a 70 Hemi
63 Polara with a 440 as a 426 Max Wedge
2007 Shelby GT500 (2 of em')
67 Pontiac LeMans convert/ AC with a 4-speed

I think some of you are being a little paranoid. I could walk down the high street and collect 50 VINs, together with the make, model, licence plate etc of each car in half an hour. Do you all keep your VIN covered so no one can read it?

mopar megan

:icon_hang:I google my vin all the time, and down hear in georgia you don't even have to have a title just a bill of sale. With the tech that we have today if they want it, they will take it.

Criminals of the world, have at it... The complete VIN #'s for all three of my cars pictured right here. Seriously, there are some really "special" people on this board...:iamwithstupid:

Again, read my post above.
This is a service she is offering.
Congrads for her!
Same or simmilar to a "Marti-report" FORDs fans rave over.
If you want to use her service, good. if not, dont knock it.

Thanks to all who have replied and are wanting my help. I have more than enough work for awhile and will work on each car in the order I was messaged. As of right now, this will be all the work I will take on for awhile, but I will post when things slow down and I can take on more cars. THANK YOU!!!

Just my thoughts, but isn't mopar megan doing the same thing Galen Govier is doing at a fraction of the cost? Maybe mopar megan can be just as good as him?
I know that Galen has all the info, but he's not gonna live forever. He's gotta pass in on to somebody.

Good luck in your quest Mopar Megan!

Ive been following along some hear and im surprised at noone mentioning the hidden VIV numbers on all of our cars.. Seems to truly replicate a car whatever it may be would be a very costly and time consuming job...

Amazing how many crooks are around. Looked at a supposed '70 roadrunner sitting on a rotisserie 20 miles from here. Guy came out to talk about it. Showed me a parts roadrunner with the original 383 still in it it that goes with the sale. Right off the bat I noticed the upper radiator core and rear driver side trunk rain gutter chopped out of the parts car and what do you know....shotty weld/grinding work in those areas on the car sitting on the rotisserie. Playing stupid, I asked him "Sooooooooo.....why did you transfer the these two areas to this car?" Well, this roadrunner was in better shape than the parts roadrunner so we transfered the VIN numbers in those areas to this one. Hmmmm well..they're both roadrunners sooo why does it matter? Yeahhh, i'm not the one really selling this, my buddy is so he might know, actually I think those areas were just rotted out. Before I left I told him that there's a lotta dirtbags out there turning satellite's and belvedere's into roadrunners. Crying shame. Sure would like to find one of them one day and shove my size 13 boot up their rear. Pretty sure he caught my drift. He left quickly. Left and called the Wisconsin DMV.

Im sure its done by them with high priced cars or has been done, lots of work but i guess big money, i hate to hear it. They don't put no value on anything but money. This guy must have quite the jewels to stand there and tell ya what he did prop! thats something for sure.

here is one, when i bought the 69 coronet in cali, 318, 2 dr/ht, it came with the shell of a 69 super bee that sat out for years but the vins except the tags were intact. the vin plates were in a seperate envelope. keep in mind i was just getting back into the old cars 30-35 year absence. i get home with the 1 and 1/2 cars everybody is ga ga over the coronet except one guy who wanted the story on the pair. after listening and looking at the total package he offers me a very large amount of dollars for the pair. made me think long and hard. i phone a buddy from years gone bye who was into mopars when we were all into cars and he still is. relayed the story and he asked the guys name. he says watch your *** due to him being shady in the mopar world around here and then he tells me what i have, which was everything needed to make my coronet into a bee. i had heard about it but never encountered it.

long story short, i couldn't sell it to him and when i did sell the shell with tags it was to someone that was recommended. the 1st guy had me thinking for a bit, it was a very-very good profit but my self worth wouldn't do it.

no big deal but it can happen. as for giving out your tag # i don't see the big deal but that is my opinion only. up here with our system and i wanted a certain tag number its pretty easy.
