$500- 68 charger

It's been a while since I posted that I had the paperwork done and thought it was on the way, but I had a little more red tape to do before I got my title. I'm proud to say that I now have it in hand along with my antique tag.:hello2:

I assume you are talking about the trim that goes on the bottom edge of the sail panels for the vinyl roof. I might let that go in the future because I don't plan on putting a vinyl roof back on, but as much as I've changed my mind on things already I'm going to hold on to it for a while. Sorry.

Brackets installed. Perfect fit.:hello2:

You did a heck of a job with the surgery doctor. Now go slap that nurse on her behind.

Thats some great work, or surgery! Congrats on the antique plates! looking fit and ready to go...

Nice job with the unintended modifications Kid - it turned out great.

Great work on the repairs, those A arms are really nice looking too.

I hear you bud , and totally understand . My car will be going to paint soon and am leaning very close to jet black . This will be the only time I will go with the vinyl top . My wife says I will be deviding the most beautiful roof line with a vinyl top and I tend to agree with her . so only on a Black car will it go . I know the check marks are available but not the long trim ( yet )
If you change your mind , you know where to find me . Thanks again

Wow, I just looked through this thread and checked out all the pics in photobucket.
Great job, you have some mad skills! Very impressive.

I bought some Caltrac bars and mono leafs today. They should be here next Wednesday. I bought them because I want to tack weld on my rear torque boxes and want to make sure everything will fit right in that area. I want the boxes on before the major sand blast so I can go on with the epoxy priming and not have to weld much more after that other than final welds on torque boxes and sub frame connectors, which I'll do after motor and all weight is on tires, as recommended.

You'll like those Caltrac's kid. They work! Have a set on my bird. Only downfall to them is they make a bit of a rougher ride. Noticed the difference when playing with the preload when setting mine. With that being said, I don't think plush ride quality is at the top of the charts for those cranking out enough power to warrant a Caltrac's system anyways.

nice fab work on them Upper control arms & mounts, keep up the great work

Boring nite in the shop! I've just about done everything I can to the car for now and I'm waiting on the weather to do my major blast. I hope my uncle doesn't mind me modifying his rotis. Welded a handle on the lock-bolt. Got tired of looking for that wrench.
Actually it's a great nite in the shop! I'm in my zenzone!:happy7:
I have a chance to do this for a living and I believe I may do it. Kinda of a semi-retirement hobby that I get paid for and I can do at home. I have a friend with 35 mopar musclers in various condition that he wants to fix up 1 at a time. I probably won't do the body shop work but I think I can do most else in my shop here or one of his several. He also has an enclosed trailer that he might share so I could put my car in to get it out of the way. But even if I do work on his cars my car here will be running 1st before I start on the 1st one of his. And so that is more motivation to finish this baby!

Thanks Daytona Kid - always appreciate the posts and the updates ! ! WISH I had room to fit a rotisserie in my shop and get mine mounted ! !

Would make my job a whole lot easier ( it's not really fun welding upside down with molten rain falling on you ! )

Posted an update on my thread about the lower core support - thought you might like to see it . . . don't think you added yours yet ? ?

Keep up the great work and keep us all posted ! ! !
