69 Charger 500 in New Jersey

If I wasn't 20 hours away, I'd be in the car now, but it just seems fishy. That's a $50K car all day long.

That's what I'm thinking, too, but Damn that's a good looking car. I can't find it listed anywhere else, and the seller has no history (He just joined Old Ride to post the ad), so my spam radar is tingling. A 68/69 Charger is our final piece of the puzzle, and we've been searching for several years.

Scam, been listed on other places. Can't believe folks fall for these still.

The number is real. I called it and left a message. It's right in my backyard, so if it's real, I'll check it out. Will keep y'all posted.

It has to be a scam, a restored aero car for anything less than $40,000 is unherd of, it has to be spam, I seen a lot of these while I was searching craigslist, ya know daytona/ superbird for $10,000 close to mint roadrunners, chargers, and super bee listed weekly for less than $5000

Cool. Thanks! I did also find it listed on Auto Trader Classic.

That's what I've thought from the get go, but you never know. I certainly am not falling for it, because I wouldn't send any money without seeing it in person.

The background is certainly not jersey city. Maybe stored somewhere else.

Tru dat !!! I was just down there on Monday, at the court house. Fun being in the hood !!!!!!!

No returned call yet, no response to my email. Most likely a scam.

Help needed here...
1. If it is a SCAM, then why do these "questionable" individuals list these cars?
What is the purpose of these people listing these cars ?

Another words, why do these people list these cars?
Do they have the cars in their posession OR is it a "Phishing" scam where they collect info form you. (Data mining)

I have wondered the same thing. I wonder if they are looking for a buyer overseas who might wire them a deposit, then disappear after they get it. Either way, you'd think they would list it with a more realistic price. Anyone who knows these cars is automatically going to think scam immediately.

Update- Checked the listing. Seems it's a scam. Here's what was posted

" This listing is currently ON HOLD OR PENDING REVIEW"

Easiest way to tell if it's a scam is to see if they stole images of another car off of google. I've found a few like that. Most recent for me was a mint GT350 for like $15,999 or something like that. The real owner had more than that in paint.
