Like 5.7 says, use the truck timing cover if you can. It keeps the alternator up high on the engine and prevents the possible interferences with the frame rail. To avoid confusion from his picture, he made spacers to mount the car style manifold with the truck timing cover...that would not be your typical installation.

Here is mine with power steering and A/C deleted.

lxmodguy... using the truck front cover i believe you should be able to get away with using a normal fitting radiator. that is a huge plus when it comes to saving a dollar.

Trying to talk glassman into making me some carbon fiber bumpers and a hood. I guess we will see how much $$ its going to take to make it happen.

Carbon fiber seems a bit overkill.... why not just fiberglass? or do you want the look?

I just want to be different. Probably end up with fiberglass.
